 Machines need less paperwork

Machines need less paperwork

13/08/2008 10:29:00 AM
MAY I suggest people think twice before blaming employers or companies for replacing staff with machines?

Machines don’t need:

Occupational health and safety (endless staff meetings, unnecessary signs, endless paperwork, fear of fines);

Workcover (staff meetings, more unnecessary signs, endless paperwork, fear of fines);

Insurance (choices here);

Sick pay (no “sickies”, machines are always at “work”);

Super (machines never retire);

Just a thought for the next election. Do we want higher wages or employment?

W. Pijnacker,

Nowra.
