Seconds stumble in top three chase

Seconds stumble in top three chase

Camden 15

Shoalhaven 7

THE Nowra Liquorland Shoalhaven Rugby Club Second Grade were beaten 15-7 by a committed Camden side.

The Shoals might struggle to reach the top three.

The Shoals, with a large number of players either unavailable or injured, had a vastly different side from the one that looked like premiership material following a great win against Vincentia.

Some players had to back up from third grade.

Despite this, the Shoals should have been able to win this game, but were not able to hang onto the ball or consistently win their own ball at the scrum.

When the Shoals were able to gain some ball, both James Smith and Liam Allen were tireless in taking the ball up, but they weren’t able to gain enough support from their team-mates to make some breaks and score points.

In the backs, both Sam Watts and Matt Robinson ran hard and were able to make a few breaks, but a lack of support play led to a breakdown of play.

Best players for the Shoals were Liam Allen and Daniel McCracken in the forwards, while Sam Watts and Matt Robinson tried hard in the backs.

12:50 PM AEST | When I heard that some obscure woman from Alaska had been selected as the Republican Party's vice-presidential nominee, my first reaction was not to check the cable news channels, or even the internet news sites. No, my first reaction was to go to YouTube.
