Knights belt Jets

4/08/2008 12:08:00 PM
THE Shoalhaven Jets suffered a shock loss to Kiama Knights at the Nowra Showground yesterday.

The Jets went down 43-35 thanks to a sloppy second half performance.

Shoalhaven were one point behind competition leaders, Shellharbour, heading into the match, but the loss has relegated them to fourth on the ladder.

The defeat could also crush any hope of a minor premiership in the club’s debut season.
