A MAN was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital after he was found collapsed on a floor and bleeding profusely at a Sanctuary Point home on Sunday night.

Police were called to Park Drive about 10.40pm, and found the 51-year-old man bleeding heavily from a deep cut to his left forearm.

As the man was taken to hospital for treatment police arrested a 61-year-old woman, who was charged with maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

She has been given conditional bail to appear before Nowra Local Court on Friday, August 8.
