Man caught breaking 10-year drive ban

A MAN stopped while driving a car in East Nowra on the weekend was arrested after police discovered he had been disqualified from driving until 2018.

At about 12.30am on Sunday police saw a white 1989 Holden Commodore station wagon travelling east along Kalandar Street.

Police attempted to stop the car but it allegedly continued on, eventually stopping in a driveway on Clipper Road.

Inquiries at the scene allegedly revealed the 27-year-old from Albion Park was disqualified from driving until 2018.

He was charged with driving while disqualified and will face Nowra Local Court next month.
