Fire destroys Nowra home

6/08/2008 9:25:00 AM
AN empty house has been destroyed in a fire that erupted in Nowra early on Monday morning.

Personnel from the Nowra Fire Brigade were called to Hobart Street about 4.20am, and arrived to find a home in the street well alight.

While fire fighters battled the blaze, the house was destroyed.

Crime scene officers have been examining the home, which was unoccupied at the time of the fire, as part of a report that will be prepared for the coroner.
